SYNOPSIS: Ian McShane stars in this character study of a low level criminal in London's West End. He makes his money running stag shows for businessmen and doing minor scams. He inadvertently sees a mob murder and becomes the focus of a local crime lord's brutish hitman. McShane is great as the smiling, scheming, hustler. He shacks up with pretty Gayle Hunnicutt as well as a few party girls. More drama than action but a worthy recommendation for fans of films like Straight Time and Get Carter.
