SYNOPSIS: Entertaining mix of sci-fi, action and laughs in this 1990 hybrid. An alien ship crashes in the ocean and a human-like figure emerges. After a bloody encounter with the police he ends up in the hospital morgue. When a female doctor gets ready to do an autopsy the man springs back to life and kidnaps her. A mystery man with a big gun, Robert Forster, shows up and tries to shoot the fleeing alien. It turns out that Forster is an alien too! The woman (Shepard) gets caught in the middle of these two clashing beings as they try to kill each other. Part of the fun is trying to figure out just who the "good" alien really is and the script is good at keeping viewers guessing. Filled with some very ambitious chase scenes, explosions, stunts and gooey special effects. It mixes ideas from The Hidden, Terminator and I Come in Peace. Recommended.
