Sigpress Against Scotland Yard (1968)
(aka Sigpress Contra Scotland Yard / Psychopath / Mister Zehn Prozent - Miezen und Moneten)
DIRECTOR: Guido Zurli (The Mad Butcher)
STARS: George Martin (Let's Go and Kill Sartana), Klaus Kinski (Paganini, Android), Ingrid Schoeller (Mission Phantom)
SYNOPSIS: George Martin stars as "Sigpress", a gentleman thief (similar to characters like Fantomas, Judex, Superargo, etc with a dash of James Bond) who steals from crooks and takes 10% as a return fee for himself. Klaus Kinski is his right-hand man who assists Sigpress and sets up the schemes. There's a twisty plot concerning stolen jewels, a group of thieves, a nosy detective and sexy girls. There are lots of Euro locales, love scenes, fights and chases that are played with a good dose of tongue-in-cheek humor. Martin is very likable as the charming rogue who uses Mission Impossible-style disguises to trick some of his victims. The "Force Video" vhs release, under the title Psychopath, has very misleading box art suggesting Klaus Kinski as some kind of serial killer on the loose! Gino Peguri (Bloody Pit of Horror, Seven Magnificent Guns) provides the score.
Note: The onscreen title is: Psychopath
