SYNOPSIS: Two California goofballs stumble onto an atomic bomb that the U.S. Air Force mistakenly lost. They find it at the beach stuck on a reef when they're out snorkeling. Being enterprising young men they decide to write letters to the local newspapers threatening to set off the bomb in Los Angeles unless every resident mails in one dollar to their Swiss Bank account! The bulk of the film is a cat and mouse game between our heroes and the police. With a lack of nudity, drugs or profanity it feels more like a harmless made-for-TV comedy (ala Pigs vs Freaks) rather than a theatrical effort. Bonner and Ewing make a likable duo in this forgotten comedy.
