SYNOPSIS: Two action-packed, low budget, regional film obscurities.
The Courier of Death: After he's robbed of a briefcase full of cash, and his wife and friend are killed, a comically grizzled courier sets out for revenge. His target is a shady organized crime group that uses murder, kidnaping and torture. At one point our hero even goes up against a high heeled femme who kicks his ass. Very low budget regional effort that has the feel of "let's make a movie" all over it. The amount of action, amateur acting and fun dialog make this rarity another so-bad-it's-good classic. Mostly filmed in Portland, Oregon.
The Last Witness: A man escapes from a secret military hospital. He gets back to his home town and tangles with the redneck sheriff before hiding out at an old friend's house. He claims he was held captive and tortured as a political prisoner. Meanwhile trained government assassins are ordered to kill the man on sight. Another forgotten, no-budget, action entry with murder, shootings, car chases, fight scenes and sexy women. It appears to have been primarily shot in Cincinnati, OH. Not a single review on the IMDB for this obscurity.
