Timestalkers (1987)

$20.00

DIRECTOR: Michael Schultz (Cooley High, Car Wash)

STARS: William Devane (Red Alert, Rolling Thunder), Lauren Hutton, Klaus Kinski (Paganini, Sigpress Against Scotland Yard), John Ratzenberger, Forrest Tucker (F-Troop, Thunder Run)

SYNOPSIS: Entertaining, made-for-TV, Sci-Fi winner. William Devane stars as old west expert who discovers an antique photo of a gunslinger holding a very modern gun. He investigates further and ends up writing a book on time travel. Meanwhile, we see some scenes from the late 1800's as a blonde killer, Klaus Kinski, works his way through a dusty town searching for someone. Lauren Hutton contacts Devane to talk about his book and it turns out she's an experienced time traveler. Pretty soon they're jumping back and forth in time to stop Kinski and his evil plans. Kinski is perfectly cast as the brilliant, and uncompromising, gun-toting villain. Some fun ideas in this film with a good supporting cast and no filler.
