SYNOPSIS: Boasting a memorable one sheet poster (see above), a script by Jess Franco and Chris Mitchum in a rare villain role makes this bad taste exploitation pretty bonkers. Nazi war criminal Dr. Josef Mengele (Franco regular Vernon) is hidden away in a South American jungle fortress planning to drop "The Fourth Reich" on an unsuspecting world. His martial arts expert, ex-military, bodyguard is played by Chris Mitchum! Meanwhile, a ragtag group made up of people with an axe to grind on Herr Doctor plot to storm the hideaway and bring the Angel of Death to justice. Martial arts, car chases, explosions, shoot-outs and more. Plus a bizarre half-man / half-monkey medical atrocity down in the Doc's basement. A good example of so-bad-it's-good 80's exploitation.
