Explosion (1969)

$20.00

DIRECTOR: Jules Bricken

STARS: Don Stroud (Hollywood Man, Sudden Death), Gordon Thomson, Richard Conte, Robin Ward

SYNOPSIS: Obscure anti-war drama from 1969 starring exploitation favorite Don Stroud as an easygoing hippie drifter. Gordon Thomson plays his strait laced draft dodger pal. These two outsiders decide to make a run for the Canadian border to avoid the Viet Nam war. This road trip film is mostly drama with some comedic scenes, sex, car theft, a little action and ultimately...violence. Thomson is good in a role that requires him to be a bottled up ball of rage and the underrated Stroud is entertaining and fun as always.
